Safar Terms of Use

Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your use of Safar, including the iPhone app, Home Screen widgets, audio features, and Apple CarPlay-related features.

By using Safar, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

App Purpose

Safar helps users manage Islamic driving widgets, including Qibla direction, prayer time information, Bismillah audio, travel dua, daily surah recitation, hadith content, Hijri date, and photo-based widgets.

Safar is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple.

Religious Content

The app may display or play Quran, dua, hadith, and other Islamic content. We aim to use reliable sources and preserve the meaning of the content, but the app is provided as a convenience tool and should not be treated as a religious authority.

Users are responsible for verifying religious content, prayer calculation methods, and local religious rulings according to their own trusted scholars, institutions, or community.

Prayer Times, Qibla, and Location

Prayer times and Qibla direction may use your device location when permission is granted. Accuracy can vary based on device location accuracy, heading data, movement direction, calculation method, provider data, and network availability.

Do not rely on the app where inaccurate timing or direction could cause harm or serious consequences.

CarPlay Use and Driving Safety

You are responsible for using the app safely and obeying all traffic laws. Do not interact with the app in a way that distracts you while driving.

CarPlay features are designed to use Apple-approved CarPlay templates and driving-appropriate controls, but you remain responsible for safe use.

Subscriptions and Premium Features

Safar may offer auto-renewable subscriptions, including:

• Yearly Premium
• Weekly Premium
• Free users can add and organize widgets in the app. Premium unlocks applying selected widgets to the CarPlay experience and access to the full driving widget experience.
• Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
• Prices, trial availability, and subscription terms may vary by region and may change over time.

Purchases and Restores

Premium access is checked through Apple and RevenueCat. If you purchase Premium and access does not appear immediately, use the Restore Purchases option in the app.

We do not directly process or store your payment card details.

User Content

If you add a photo for the Photo widget, you are responsible for having the right to use that photo. The app stores selected photo data locally and may share it with the app's widget extension through the app group container.

Do not use content that infringes the rights of others or violates applicable law.

Availability and Changes

We may update, change, suspend, or remove app features at any time. Some features may depend on Apple APIs, CarPlay availability, RevenueCat, backend services, network access, or third-party content providers.

Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, loss of access, inaccurate prayer times, inaccurate Qibla direction, service interruptions, or driving-related incidents arising from your use of the app.
